+LIVE+ POSTPONES S.A. TOUR TO 2021 ...

The +LIVE+ concerts due to take place in South Africa in 2020 have been postponed to November 2021. Announced by AMP Events, the move sees one of the world's favourite rock bands adjusting their visit to SA due to the Covid19 pandemic. +LIVE+ was due to perform in Pretoria on 6 & 7 November and in Cape Town on 10 November 2020 as part of their Throwing Copper 25th Anniversary Tour. Instead, the US rock band will perform in Cape Town on 2 November and in Pretoria on 5 & 6 November 2021. All tickets purchased for the 2020 concerts are valid for the new 2021 dates. "While we're disappointed at not being able to produce the concerts for this year, we're thrilled not to have to cancel them and look forward to having +LIVE+ back in South Africa in 2021" says Andy Mac, owner of AMP Events. "The safety of our fans and customers comes first, and along with +LIVE+, we wanted to make sure the shows were a premium event in-line with the realities of Covid19." As one of the most successful and enduring alternative bands of the last thirty years, +LIVE+ has a catalogue featuring some of alternative rock's most iconic hits, including "Lightning Crashes", "I Alone", "Selling the Drama", "The Dolphin's Cry", "Overcome" and "Heaven" many of which have been responsible for shaping the musical landscape for alternative rock around the globe. "There is a silver lining to this cloud," says Mac. "We'll keep the ticket prices for 2021 at the current low prices they were selling for to ensure the experience is fair for all fans. The dates have shifted, but the venues remain the same." This 2021 tour sees +LIVE+ returning to the Grand Arena in Cape Town and the Sun Arena in Pretoria almost 4yrs to the day since they opened the Time Square venue with their SOLD-OUT Reunion Tour back in 2017. Tickets now on sale. The original line-up of +LIVE+ is Ed Kowalczyk (vocals, guitar), Chad Taylor (guitar, backing vocals), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass) and Chad Gracey (drums, percussion).

Refunds And Cancellations

You may cancel any booking submitted to us for tickets that have not yet been issued to you at any time prior to the date of the event to which such booking pertains by sending a cancellation notice to info@computicket.com or calling our Customer Care Centre on +27 (0)11 340 8000 or 0861 915 8000. You may also cancel and return any issued tickets acquired from us at any time prior to the scheduled date of the event to which they apply by handing in your tickets at any of our Money Market kiosks. When you cancel your booking or return your tickets you must provide us with the relevant booking number. Following receipt of your booking cancellation or returned tickets, we will refund you the face value paid for the relevant tickets (or, if a discounted ticket, then instead the discounted ticket price paid), provided that reasonable cancellation charges as determined by the Event Organiser may be charged and deducted from such refund. Unless otherwise stipulated by the Event Organiser and depending on the prevailing circumstances the following cancellation charges may apply:
- If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior to the event a 15% cancellation fee will apply;
- If the cancellation occurs less than 30 but more than 7 days prior to the event a 50% cancellation fee will apply;
- If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days prior to the event a 100% cancellation fee will apply;
- Notwithstanding the aforesaid, if you can provide us with suitable documentary proof that a person in whose name a ticket was booked will not be able to attend the event because of his/her death and/or hospitalisation, no cancellation fee will apply in respect of the cancellation of such person`s ticket.
